What you get

A dimensioned drawing

Top, side and front views with the main dimensions, support positions and a title block. Use it to talk to your installer or the planning office; it does not replace the structural study.

A bill of materials

Supports, rails, clamps and foundations are counted from the array length and a maximum spacing between supports. The study adjusts the quantities to your site’s wind and snow.

Height and planning

The upper edge depends on tilt, panel length and lower edge. In England, stand-alone solar has its own permitted-development limits: check them, or ask the council, before ordering.

Configurator FAQ

Is the drawing a construction drawing?
No. It is an indicative layout with footprint, heights, tilt and support positions. Sections, anchoring and the exact number of supports are set by the structural study for your site’s wind, snow and ground.
Portrait or landscape, one row or two?
Portrait makes the array shorter and taller; landscape makes it longer and lower. Two rows shorten the array but raise the upper edge. The configurator shows the footprint and height of each option.
Concrete ballast or ground screws?
Ballast avoids digging and suits flat, stable ground. Ground screws anchor into the soil, use less concrete and cope better with slopes. The final choice depends on the ground and the calculated forces.
How much does a ground mount cost?
Real example delivered in October 2026 near Paris: 6 panels in portrait, 30°, aluminium frame of 72 parts with stainless fixings, €671.05 excl. VAT, excluding panels, concrete blocks and installation. For your configuration, ask for the free estimate.
